Cavitatea bucala este punctul de start al digestiei, atat mecanice cat si chimice (enzima amilaza). O microflora foarte diversa populeaza toate tipurile de suprafete ale gurii normale: dure (dinti) si moi (mucoasa, gingie). Majoritatea bolilor cavitatii bucale au in substrat existenta unor infectii persistente bacterine, fungice, virale:

 

Bacteriile: au fost identificate  mai mult de 700 de specii de bacterii in cavitatea bucala, si majoritatea lor sunt asociate cu formarea placii dentare. Placa dentara este un biofilm, adica o structura 3 D complexa de bacterii (si alti patogeni), care asigura o protectie pentru dezvoltarea nestingherita a microbilor (vezi articolul >>>).

Fungi: cei mai cunoscuti apartin speciei Candida, care pot sintetiza nitrozamine cu metaboliti proprii, ce pot activa diferite protooncogene ce favorizeaza transformarea maligna a mucoasei orale

Virusi:  herpesul la nivelul mucoasei bucale sau a buzei este des intalnit la fumatori;  aparitia herpesului este un factor de risc pentru cancerul oro-maxilo-facial.

 

Aparitia infectiilor bucale este favorizata de higiena orala precara, gingivita marginala preexistenta, tratamente dentare problematice, fumat, stresul emotional si factorii sistemici: deficite cronice de fier si vitaminele  A si B.

Infectiile bucale sunt responsabile pentru doua tipuri de boli majore:  cariile dentare si periodontita (cu faza ei initiala, gingivita).  Periodontita microbiana este cea mai comuna boala inflamatorie cronica in randul populatiei, ea fiind asociata cu aparitia si dezvoltarea unor boli inflamatorii sistemice foarte periculoase ca:  ateroscleroza, endocardita, prolapsul de valva mitrala, atacul de cord, atacul cerebral, complicatiile diabetului zaharat, boala pulmonara obstructiva cronica, artrita reumatoida etc.

Avand in vedere toate aceste potentiale dezvoltari periculoase ale infectiilor bucale, este important sa prevenim si sa controlam aceste infectii, in primul rand prin diagnosticul lor precoce.

 

 

SUPORTUL INFO-ENERGETIC IN INFECTIILE ORALE
