O calatorie poate fi o lectie de viata, o placere sau … un cosmar !

Stiati ca  unul din cinci calatori are probleme de sanatate, altele decat cele infectioase ?

Iar in cazul tarilor tropicale, incidenta totala a problemelor de sanatate (infectioase + celelelate) ajunge la unul din doi calatori !

Alte probleme neplacute pot sa apara atunci cand calatorul sufera deja de afectiuni carora li se contraindica zborurile cu avionul la altitudine mare :

(a)     afectiuni medicale influentate de hipoxie: afectiuni respiratorii cu dispnee de repaos sau dispnee severa de efort (bronhospasm, bronsita cronica si emfizem cu restrictie importanta a functiilor respiratorii), anemie severa, boli cardiovasculare (instabilitate cardiaca : angor instabil, decompensare cardiaca manifesta, status post – infarct acut de miocard (2 – 4 saptamani, HTA instabila, status post AVC);

(b)    afectiuni medicale influentate de modificarea de presiune atmosferica: otita medie, sinuzita, rinofaringita, interventii chirurgicale

(c)     afectiuni ce necesita precautii particulare :

  • risc de flebotromboza
  • ulcerul gastric complicat cu hemoragie recenta
  • diabet, boli infectioase, sarcina etc etc*

Cele mai uzuale probleme de sanatate apar in cazul zborurilor lungi cu avionul (intercontinentale):  ele sunt grupate sub numele de sindromul de schimbare al fusului orar (“jet-lag“) si cuprind: oboseala  extrema, somnolenta, anxietate, tulburare apetit si probleme digestive, pierdere de memorie si confuzie, iritabilitate, apatie, susceptibilitate crescuta la infectii etc.   Aceste simptome dispar de la sine in cateva zile sau saptamani, dar in cazul calatoriilor in interes profesional, persoana trebuie sa fie apta de sa functioneze la nivel normal aproape imediat.

Pentru cei care calatoresc foarte des  (mai ales personalul navigant) riscurile sunt mult mai mari:  hipoxie, deshidratare, expunere cumulativa la radiatia cosmica (> risc sporit  leucemie mieloida acuta, melanom etc pentru personalul navigant – studiu Institute of Cancer Epidemiology, Copenhaga), bronsita cronica (stewardese), probleme auditive, boli de inima (pentru femei), lipsa de apetit, dureri de cap, vertij, depresie, anxietate, oboseala, lipsa de concentrare etc

Pentru prevenirea oricarei situatii periculoase pentru sanatate sau neproductiva dpd vedere profesional, noi oferim protocolul e-TRAVEL care evalueaza holistic starea de sanatate  si identifica precoce probleme de sanatate ce  pot sa apara sau sa se agraveze in cazul unei calatorii.

Scopul unei consultatii la centrul EuVITA inainte de plecarea intr-o calatorie nu este de a crea angoase cu privire la riscurile potentiale ale unui voiaj, ci de a evalua aptitudinea de a calatori, de a oferi elementele necesare unei profilaxii corecte, si concrete:  cunoasterea „verigilor slabe” ale organismului, diagnosticul precoce (analiza perturbatiilor EMF permite depistarea cu 3-5 ani in avans a bolilor fata de analize biochimie), al afectiunilor ce pot prezenta risc oferirea unor reguli de conduita prin a caror aplicare sa se reduca riscul de boala.
